Has happened. So don't say "Aaaagh, where's my lvl 3 char with the +1 sword gone?" We all restart with new chars.

The reason is this is a Beta test and we want to see if corrupted characters were contributing to some portaling errors.

Will there be another wipe before we go 'gold'? Almost certainly. Why not use this as an opportunity to try other races, classes?

Aaaargh! Oh, wait... I didn't have any characters there. :shake:

Doh! And I barely had a chance to use my brand-spankin' new longbow! :)

Other races/classes?! Ha! I barely had a chance to explore THIS one! I never even got close to reaching second level! :)
