Phlan is about to incorporate Tradeskills, so what would you want to do:
Mining
Blacksmithing
Weaponcrafting
Armourcrafting
Gemcutting
Jewelcrafting or
Tanning?

Can I be a tanner?!?! I've always wanted to make a suit of leather armor out of human skin! ;) :p
Actually, they sound like interesting trades, but what about scribe for mages and clerics? Or forester for ranger types, or sage (added lore skill), etc...?? Just thinking out loud.

What about herb lore, wine making, beer making, carpenter (make barrels, wagons, buildings, furniture), teamster (not sure how to make this one real useful).
I think Bel would switch from tanner to beer maker in an instant! ;)

Since NWN left out the Weaponsmithing and Armoursmithing Feats I'd really like to see them put back in and this seems the best way. You need the mining and blacksmithing trades in order to make these work though, or were you planning on making ingots availible for purchase by would be weapon and armour smiths?

Lol! If I had offered carpentry and brewing you would have said "wot about blacksmithing?" DMs can't win :(
Anyway, first 7 are in now. Make you own leather armour, first catch a deer ....

Oh, sorry, I thought you were asking for ideas beyond the ones you listed... All those are great, and good job on incorporating them so quickly!

I'd love to see a would be tanner hunt for pelts with Druids and Rangers around...
hehehe...

Well, there are 6400 sq miles of Phlan so those Rangers and Druids can't be everywhere. If a Ranger or Druid turns hunter they will find the animals don't run from them.
