There is a rich tapestry of the Forgotten Realms within reach! Where you can walk from the Friendly Arm Inn all the way to Nashkel, climb Kelvin's Cairn, skulk through the dark alleys of Waterdeep, experience the glory and splendor of Cormyr, and bathe in the magic of Silverymoon, hold back the Zhents in Daggerdale, or even bump into Elminster in Shadowdale!!

Yes, friends...the Realms are waiting - For you!

What am I talking about? ALFA (http://www.alandfaraway.net)

If you've wondered what it's like to play the closest thing to PnP DnD on your computer, then look no further! ALFA has been live since April, heroes have made their mark, villains too! But the tale is continuous, and you could be part of it!

I've been DMing in ALFA for about 2-3 months, and it is great!! My only wish is that more DnD fans could see the world that has been built - It's amazing!! I think now is the time. If you haven't applied already, or didn't get in when ALFA was in the develpoment stage - Now is the time to apply!

Bring your character into ALFA...I think it's the best online gaming experience for DnD fans currently available!! See you in the Realms!

Indeed!

I might add that perhaps some of you have tried multiplayer and had no luck, logging into a sucky powergaming server, where people only know how to kill each other and nothing more.

ALFA is so much more than that!

Most importantly of all - DMing. Always something going on, what you havent seen before. Might be a simple task of investigating farmer's missing cows, or it could be a massive heroic quest that will save the day.
You might not be heroic... just talk to DM and you can try to rob local lords house. Or Elminister's tower if youre feeling suicidal ;)

All i have to say is.. join the fun!

Its certianly fun and I 100% recomend it to anyone who likes more of a true dnd experience than a leveling experience
