I've just entered Act 6, and I have the following items:

nine skulls
six dead spiders
five dead men
four dead women
two dead children
two dead cats
and a partridge in a pear tree (not really).

If there were any quests involving these items, I missed them entirely. So someone please spoil me: what are these items for?

Thanks...

You could feed a goblin in the goblin warrens with a dead spider.

Dead cat had its own little quest in Targos, it is that old-blind woman's cat which some adventurers in the Pallisade used to get rid of mice infest in docks. Nothing serious you lost, a few XP and quite funny dialogues.

You can feed the bodies to the Whelp-demon like creature, if you didn't kill him in Goblin warrens. (I always kill him though) you can find him in Severed Hand and avoid a fight if you give him something to chew, as distasteful as it sounds.

Other than that I don't have a clue. Maybe other guys here can help; but NONE of those are crucial, and you clearly do not need that much bodies.

PS:And you know, carrying a dead-and mummified cat is a luck charm in north! :p

  ROFLMAO!! :shake:

six dead spiders - Are you carrying spider bodies from the Horde Fortress caverns? You missed XP by hanging on to them :p Dump them all. five dead men, four dead women, two dead children - I hope you did not kill Yukog (the Red Bhargest whelp) in the Horde Fortress caverns. If you did you just carried this lot for nothing.
Now it is your decision if you want to kill the little critter when you meet him. One each of these 3 items could get you XP and a non-violent solution. nine skulls, two dead cats - Dump 'em. They are also use for the same purpose but for less XP. a partridge in a pear tree (not really) - wait till you get a couple of squrrels in a box. :smash:

AFAIK you can avoid a fight in the Severed Hand by showing someone your collection of dead cat bodies. And where did you find so many human corpses?

Phew, man, you're obviously one vile necromancer. Ever thought how bad it must seem, dragging all these cadavres along? :nolike:

May be that carrying a dead and mummified cat is considered lucky, but perhaps, on the off chance, you might be getting a tiny bit overboard?

The spiders came from Dragon's Eye.
There was a quest involving spider bodies much earlier (I think chapter 3) that I did.

Most of the human bodies came from Dragon's Eye, but two I've had for much longer (don't remember where).

I killed Yukog earlier. Oops.

I guess I'll hang onto the skulls to see how many I can get by the end.

hahahaha ... i like the 'carrying a dead-and mummified cat is a luck charm in north' part ... as soon as i said it, i regretted it ... :p

anyway, did someone say there was a subquest regarding this one big dead fat cat? the blind lady just said 'shame on you for carrying its carcass along' ... did i miss anything? i try to be a perfectionist when it comes to getting XP.

for the dead bodies, i previously remember that there are quite a few (2-3) in this particular ice fortress or something. cant recall now. without the magical extradimensional bag, i think it's almost impossible to lug all these 'expired' items along ...

for the dead spiders, feeding them in a specific sequence to the goblin whelp does help in getting more XP, i think. it makes no sense, but it works that way ...

if 'carrying a dead-and mummified cat is a luck charm in north', then 'carrying the dead-and mummified human bodies' is probably a lucky charm in the south ... the more the merrier :p

With that 'carrying a dead-and mummified cat is a luck charm in north' part you should have asked how they did their own stupid quests. Then you find out that they stole that cat from the blind woman.
Only after that if you go talk to the blind lady do you get any XP, otherwise she keeps saying 'shame on you for carrying its carcass along'.

argghhh ... i forgot to visit that blind lady after talking to the 3 mercenaries at the palisade. damn ! XP lost ...

anyway, I am currently at the Horde Fortress, and will eventually return to Targos. So if i still have the cat, do you think they will still award me with the XP if i look for her so late in the game? anyway, the damn cat is stashed in the crate in the building of Lord dunno-what's-his-name at the palisade. hope the cat wouldnt disappear ... *cross fingers*
