I finished IWDII few times and I got bored of playing the same story. I know that there isn't any mod that makes the game longer, so I thought, that I could try to make one ;] I know it would be very difficult but I want to try. The first problem is that i don't know any tools which could help me. I would be grateful if somebody could tell me where can I find some tools to make new locations, dialogues, items, NPCs, monsters (maybe even new animations). I hope someone will help me.

Undead Targos and Icewind Gate would be the two closest projects thus far. Undead targos beeing the mod that "mod"'s the first chapter.

Weidu is the site to go to, its the program to use, if there is a forum there, they probablly have a guide or some such.

Yes, I'm here. But it is more difficult, than I thought. I found some tools, but unfortunately almost all of them are for PT, BG1, 2 and IWD1. I found some for making animations, unpacking some files from IE games, but i didn't find any to make new areas and place creatures and other stuff on them. I really want to try to do this mod but i even don't know how to start (it's the biggest problem :\). If someone could tell me which tools are usefull here and how to use them I would really launch out into doing this mod. But for now I'm helpless. I hope that someone will help me.
