I'm frugal, so I will probably get it when the price drops. But then again, the temptation is very strong to get it as soon as it hits the stores. :confused:

Definately as soon as eb or software etc or b-buy gets it in. One question though, does anyone know for sure if the collectors edition will be available in any stores or is it an online order only thing? I need my fancy spiral bound manual :)

I have already paid for my copy via pre-order...So as soon as it's on the shelf...I am scooping it up!

No pre-order for me. Bad experience with BG2. Had the CE on pre-order at the nearest Software Etc. The day it hit the shelves I headed over only to find out that they only had the reg version in and wouldn't get the CE for 3 days. Real annoying when the EB downstairs had the CE on the shelf. I somehow survived those 3 days but never will preorder again.

I'll probably wait a few weeks, maybe a month or so, till after it's out. Let them get a few patches in and fix the major bugs.

They've been testing the game and removing bugs since June, and their plan is to release the most bug free IE game so far.

Anticipation. It's such a sweet feeling...

IMHO - They can wait as long as they want to get it just right! I'm excited about the game, but I am willing to wait it out a little.

I'm getting it ASAP! No-one can stop me!

I have it on pre-order through Amazon ... but I'm tempted to cancel that and buy it from a retail store the day it hits the shelf. Why wait 3-4 days for UPS???

When it hits the stores - around Aug 30 here.
In the end NWN turned out to be a huge disappointment to me so I'm really hoping IWD2 will be good.

I have bad experience with ordering, both BG2 and TOB had broken cases (as in you can't put the cd in them), and it's a pain to find new ones (grrr). But of course, since I can't get a copy here, go pre-ordering! go pre-ordering! :D

Stopped by my local eb and they're saying they expect IWD2 in on the 28th of this month. So one week till the snow can once again be soaked in blood in the wake of my party.
