Anyone know how high PP skill you need to lift the Hell Bolter from Dragu Ironbreaker? I can get him to give me the Doom Bolter, but I am curious regarding the Hell Bolter stats... I have a thief, but when I PP him I get the message "target had nothing to steal." <sigh>

If you like to have the hell bolter there are a few ways: When your int is high enough you can help the duergar making it and he'll reward you with a downgraded model with 2 attacks per round. When you're more ambitious (and eventually Duergar are evil and must be purged without mercy) kill them all and loot the 3-attacks per round model after combat :D

I don't have the actual data at hand, but iirc it was a +2 or 3 to damage and attack for both weapons.

I tried forever and a day to pick that guys' pocket. My 1/2ling rogue with a 20 dexterity and max amount of allowable points alloted to PP, PLUS a potion of Mastery Thievery, and I still couldn't pick his pocket. I am going to try it again with an imported high level character, just for laughs.
I ended up completing the duergars' quest, got the xp and items as reward, leveled my guys who could, rested, and then wiped the little grey buggers off the map. I always prefer to gain my weapons as spoils of war. (removing them from opponents corpses) :D

If you have high enough int (18 or so) you can get Doom bolter(2 attacks/round) for free, and if you kill all the Dwarves you also get Hell bolter(3 attacks/round) from the corpse of doom bolter creator, so you don't have to actually pickpocket him(except if you for some reason don't want to kill the Dwarves...).
