We are in Chapter 2. We put valyagar in our party and did the planar sphere and managed to get it back to earth. It is still in our quests because we cannot kill lavoc. He is lying on the navagational bridge near death, unconscious. We've tried to kill him by magic etc and he keeps getting hurt but won't die. therefore, the thing with valyagar doesn't go away and the planar quest does not close out even though we completed it. What do we do? It must be a glitch; I think he was supposed to talk to us blue when we made the thing work. He doesn't. In order to go back I'd have to go back 75 days. Ick. Any solutions -- to finish this quest.Thanks

Interesting. You mean you got the demon heart, put it in the golem, and teleported home, but Lavok won't talk to you? I wonder if you went outside before talking to him on the bridge, and that broke the script. Anyway, I don't have a solution although you can probably change a variable with CLUA to fix things. Someone with more knowledge than me will have to give you that though. Sorry.

75 days? You should consider using a few more save files than that.

We made the golem, but did not put the demon heart in him. We went to the bridge and pushed the thing and it said something like, not knowing how to power this you put the demon heart in it and then we went back to earth. We've walked around in the slums, come back and the silly man still will not wake up. Thanks for trying.

Yes, but he kept killing valygar, so we used the cloud on him and he's been unconscious ever since.

Did Lavok say that all he wants is to die on the Prime Material Plane(or something like that) before he got unconscious?

You may be in trouble. You should have a save more current than 75 days. The AI auto-saves when you are about to enter a Party-required area. If you do load and when you come to fight Lavoc keep Valygar out of harms way. Please be sure to quick save before the fight.

No, he didn't.
I don't have a save earlier. I checked. I have a lot of save inside the planar, but all after we did that to lavoc.

So he didn't say anything, he just got unconscious?
He didn't ask you to get him home?

No, not that I recall. I play with another partner and he kept hitting him (his three players) and I don't recall him saying anything after he went unconscious. We've gone back several times after using the demon heart and he was still just laying there unconscious.

I usually save a lot too. I have like l0 save in the thing, but none before this.

If you tried to talk with Lavok just before he attacked you (so you can attack him while he is still blue) than he won't give you the quest to take him home,and you can't finish the Planar Sphere quest. If this happend to you then there is nothing you can do.(or maybe CLUA can help but I don't know)

What's the CLUA; and we didn't attack him while he was blue. He talked just before or just after we attached him, but it wasn't anything I remember and he was red. We weren't in the room because it was done through cloud kill because everytime we came in he'd attack us and kill valyagar.

i think that when you land back on earth you must talk to him and he asks you to take him out to see once again the world and then he dies
