Nope, Paladins don't get Raise Dead. They can't even cast it from a scroll. As for other Clerical spells you'll miss out on, check the manual. There are quite a few IIRC.

I would suggest maybe multi-classing a fighter to a cleric instead of using a Paladin. A Paladin won't replace a Cleric when it comes to healing spells. That goes for a Druid as well. Paladins are pretty weak when it comes to divine spell casting. There are a few threads about a Paladins spell casting ablities on the boards. Do a search. Maybe that'll help you out a bit more.

I think that the main good thing about a Paladin is the sword you get later and that if you are a real boyscout (so few) then this is a natural role to play (you know that most actors cannot act, they just play themselves). Also, he gets diplomacy skill as a one and where else would you want to put his skill points?

... check the manual...Easier said than done.
The spells aren't included in the manual I have (European/UK). You have to open "IDALE2-M-BOS&T-ENG.pdf" which is on one of the cd's to find out about the spells.

Full price games coming without complete printed documentation p*sses me off!

I see. Well I'm guessing Bluerose is in the same boat as you Earl.

Full price games coming without complete printed documentation...That's ridiculous. I can see why you'd be a bit peeved. I should be happy that I do indeed have a complete manual even though the first 15-20 pages fell out not even a week after I had it. Cheap piece of crap.

On that note, did anyone ever send the manual in pdf format to SP? I don't have it on my legit copy of the game and I sure could use a copy.

Hmm I guess I will have to check the forgotten manual on the cd.
Also, are bards any usefull single-bard or do you have to multi to make them usefull?

The manual is on CD1. And, does collector's edition include full printed manual?

Bluerose, yes they are useful, especially when they reach level 11 (War Chant of Sith). I usually multiclass my bards to sorcerers.

There is no full manual on any CD. Only the spells & tables excerpt that EG is talking about, and that's on SP already.
