View Full Version : Sorcerer Spell Problems

I'm having an odd problem with my sorcerer. The spells I've chosen for him are not usable. When I try to choose a spell during the game, all his spells are grayed out.

He only has a wizards robe and a quarter staff. I removed both from his possession, but his spells are still not accessable.

Any ideas? I have a wizard in my party and I can use his spells fine. Is there something I'm missing?

Have you tried resting?
What's your charisma score?

Sorcerer's powers are based on charisma. You need 10 + spell level charisma to cast spells. Thus for identify or magic missile you need 11, for knock 12, for fireball 13, for stoneskin 14, for feeblemind 15 and so on.

that happened to me when i first got ID2, i was all excited because i got my first level 6 spell, disintigrate, but i couldnt use it. i eventually figured it out, used dalekeeper 2 to change my charisma, and ill is well :D
