I found a bunch of ones for some Evil characters, but can't find any Good or Neutral ones.

I don't remember finding very useful robes with alignment restriction in my game.
The first useful robe can be obtained in the prologue.
I guess you just have to be lucky.
The archmagi robes aren't better than some spells anyway, so I wouldn't bother too much.

No, they're not. But the +1 to all Saves is nice, along with the Magic Resistance.
