I was able to get safe passage through Andora without having to fight the entire town, but I can't seem to get the Belladonna from the head ranger without having to go through the same annoying battle for which I earn a ridiculously small amount of XP. Has anyone successfully pickpocketed him? :nolike:

IIRC if you don't get the belladonna earlier, you can get it in the next area from a gnome called Zack after you free him from his plight.

If you do not get the belladonna from the Andorans, then you have to get it from Zack. I had to speak to Zack over and over to get the option to get the belladonna.

Keep things simple, just wipe out the Aurilites and take their magical arrows and bullets. Plus you get a decent crossbow from the guy with the belladonna and you get the second diamond from their treasure cave.

Thanks. My paladin bent his own code of honor enough by intimidating the head ranger into letting us pass through Andora unmolested. It just didn't seem right to destroy him and his village anyway after he lost his mate for doing so. :good:

Then again, my paladin goes into Dragon's Eye and bluffs Archon into letting us ride the boat for free... :holy:

By the way, you can raid the treasure cave anyway and only fight the guards at the top of the cliff. The other Andorans, including the leader, remained neutral when I did this.

Yes, you can pickpocket the belladona. It's very easy. What's more difficult is pickpocketing his excellent crossbow.

Just wondering...Did everyone find the circle of goodies on the 2nd level of the Andorra caves?

You mean the circle of containers, right? I found that by mistake as well, I didn't even know how to get up there for a while!

I tried pickpocketing the belladona a while back. Kept failing.

And when I talked to Zack, I couldn't get the dialogue choice to come up. That's when I realized, you *have* to have the indegredients book in your inventory in order for the option to come up.

It's all fun and games until someone can't get out of Chapter 2...
