I'm currently soloing a monk through the game.
I have left the option "rest until healed" activated. Although it gives silly results for a party without healing spells (each resting period is measured in days), I reckoned that game time had no influence over the game, while de-activating it would have an impact on my gaming time.
Well, I had forgotten one detail: the prisonners quest in the Ice Temple.
I entered the Ice Temple right after my battle with Sherincal, but left for a rest before fighting the first High Priestess.
I rested and came back.
I killed that Priestess, then went to pay a visit to Nathanael... but he was gone along with all the prisonners !
Silly me, didn't remember they were sacrificed at regular intervals.
Even sillier, I don't have a saved game before that.
My quest diary states that I have "found a way to free the prisonners". Yep, sure, they're free from this world...
But without Nathanael to break the Ice Wall at the end of the Chapter, I'm afraid I'm stuck. :(
Is there a way I can edit the game to restore Nathanael to it?
If someone has a saved game corresponding to that stage, could you have a look at the global variables ?
