It's Like MONKS RULES...

I try out the monk and i very pleased!

at first 7-9 levels he is very bad and not tought at all.. but now...
I have monk 12 level...(params with mods)
str 14
dex 22 (ring +2)
con 10
int 10
wis 16
cha 3

he has attack rolls +12/+9/+6/+3 (or close) (-5 to all Expertise feat) so real +7/+4/+1/-2
damage rolls 1d12 + 1 + (str +2)

BUT now is main:
AC:
basic 10
dex +6
wis +3 (monk)
Expertise feat +5
bracers +4 (armor bonus)
ring +3 (deflect bonus)
monk level 12 +5
total : 36

!!! 36 AC !!! and try to say that is too small (he is weak at strike but no one can beat him) and it's 12 only level (what can be on 20-30???)

No not yet he is only lv 12 you should get him alittle higher like 15 thats a good HOF start I think. I tryed it 1nce with a weak party to see how hard it was.... 1 goblin killed my entire party. they were new guys but had good armor ect. including the golden heart of [charname].

Isn't the Weapon Expertise feat supposed to require 13+ intelligence?

To Arutha

No Weapon Expertise (it's Fighter 4+ level needed)
simply EXPERTISE (you can do -5 to Attack rolls and +5 to AC)

Expertise - You are trained at using your combat skill for defense as well as offense.
Prerequisite: Int 13+
Benefit: When you use the attack action or full attack action in melee, you can take a penalty of as much as -5 on your attack and add the same number (up to +5) to your Armor Class. This number may not exceed your base attack bonus. The changes to attack rolls and armor bonus last until your next action. The bonus to your Armor Class is a dodge bonus.

YES, i'm deeply sorry for that... i just see my game file (i'm playing that game long time ago)

my monk stats:
str 14
dex 22 +2(amulet) =24
con 12
int 16
wis 15 +1(ring) = 16
cha 2

attack rolls (+12/+9/+6) - Expertise 5 = +7/+4/+1
damage rolls 1d12+3 = 3-14
if use short two swords (+16/+11 +12) - Expertise 5 = +11/+6 +7
and damage 1d6+3 +2 = 6-11
off hand 1d6+3 +1 = 5-10

AC:

basic : 10
armor bonus (gauntlets) +4
deflect bonuc (ring) +3
Common +3 (monk 12 level)
Dexterity +7
monk wisdom +3
total 30
expertise +5 35

35 AC , it's not 36 i'm agree... but i can also wear belt + 4 against crushing (?) weapons eand etc.
