I recently purchased the Icewind dale 2 collectors edition and installed the bonus disk also. i was just wondering what that added to the game, anybody know?

Tower Store

To find the new store, head to the town of Kuldahar. There you will see a tower in the northwest corner of the map. After entering the tower, you will go into dialogue with an NPC. The Avarine Decanter

In the Wandering Village, you will meet up with an NPC named Nym. Nym has the Avarine Decanter for sale in his store. It is a very unique item, but it is up to you to decipher its mysteries.

That sounds like the same CD that came with the pre-order Adventure Pack - are the Collector's Edition and Adventure pack cd's really the same?

Yes, they are identical. Which has me wondering why the EB store shipped some packages with both discs.

When will these be availible for download at your friendly neighborhood Sorcerer's Place???

Tal - I don't think the packages came with both disks...When I picked up my Collector's Edition (which had the bonus disk inside) at Electronics Boutique, I asked about the Adventure Pack that was given to anyone purchasing the game at EB. The clerk gave me that bonus disk as well.

I thought it was the same deal as BG2: Collector's ED had one bonus merchant, the EB disk had another...

With that said, if anyone wants my extra bonus disk...Let me know!

I would request the same as Mathetais.. would be nice to get these merchants downloadable somewhere like in BG2 days.
