i've downloaded the "slowdown fixes"-archive, but there's still a massive problem with the game speed (eg. at targos)

system:
amd 1800 xp
msi mainboard (via kt400) - latest drivers
msi gf ti-4200 - latest drivers
512 mb ram
creative sp 1024 - latest drivers

antivirus-software & daemon-tools in the background; virtual memory - 1024mb; no viruses, trojans, malware, spyware or any other crap


i hope, some people here can offer me new solutions because i've no idea how to fix it.
