The Real Deal Wed, 30th Oct '02, 9:51am what a dissapointing game i have play bg1 bg2 iwd1 p torment and nwn all been great games nwns the pick by far. But iwd2 is more like a puzzel game than a rpg. fact 1 it seems by the posts here lots of pep getting stuck with the puzzel side of the game like why in hell do u have to do something like 8 times to get to next level. oh and what about the walking they had it right with swif boy but they seemed to have give up on that
ps were are the good helmets boot of speed and for a monk cloves well atleast i got near the end of chapter 5 with only 1 char a lel 23 fighter would of been good to finish iwd2 but i dont have to time to do puzzels it i did id buy a cross word mag.
Ragusa Wed, 30th Oct '02, 10:17am You can edit your post using the *edit* button on top of it. I have always found that interpunction and short sentences have eased understanding of texts in general.
I generally refuse to waste my time attempting to puzzle out the sense from a garbled text.

"What a dissapointing game. I have played bg1, bg2, iwd1, p torment, nwn and all been great games. NWN's the pick by far. But iwd2 is more like a puzzel game than a rpg.

ps. Where are the good helmets, boot of speed and for a monk, gloves? Well at least I got near the end of chapter 5 with only 1 char. A level 23 fighter would have been good to finish iwd2 but I don't have time to do puzzels. If I did i'd buy a cross word mag."

It seems from the posts here that lots of people are getting stuck with the puzzle side of the game. Why in hell do you have to do something 8 times to get to the next level? Oh, and what about the walking? They had it right with the Swift boy, but they seem to have given up on that.

Falstaff Wed, 30th Oct '02, 5:24pm WOW - That is incredible!! :confused:
Big B Wed, 30th Oct '02, 6:50pm Thanks for the translation Faragorn.
The Real Deal, you don't need crossword puzzles you need a grammar book. :p
As for puzzles, I haven't found it too puzzeling. My only gripe so far is Battle Squares is too demanding. That 60 second rule is the clincher. But Battle Squares is optional after you win once.

ejsmith Wed, 30th Oct '02, 8:45pm I'm telling you right now.
There's more trolls in Iwd2 than 1.
Add this one up in there as well. And me with no Killsword. I guess this piddly +5 longsword will have to do. At least I've got my wizard with a firewand that's got about 5000 charges on it. Just stand back, and fireball the entire site from orbit.
troll++;
Errrr.
troll--;
Atreides Wed, 30th Oct '02, 9:26pm I'm glad that some brave individuals translated that post at the beginning. Given the way I have to read stuff it didn't make a bit of since.
I thought that PS: T had more "thinking" involved than say IWD2...
Big B Wed, 30th Oct '02, 9:54pm Exactly, Planescape Torment is that one that stimulates the brain.
Hmm, maybe we could convince the educational systems around us to provide this "hands-on learning experience" since they aren't doing a good job at grammar anyway. ;) :grin: ;)
Khazraj Thu, 31st Oct '02, 7:32am Seems that Real Deal thought that IWD2 was Diablo. Is it puzzel or puzzle? I prefer the latter.
Big B Thu, 31st Oct '02, 2:47pm It's puzzle, that's just me and my silly typos.
