Right now I'm in the monastery in chapter four and there was this guy that said he knew how to bypass the golems and stop them from attacking me.I being a quite selfish person and fearing he may try to steal some of my loot from the temple I told the headwhatever monk that there was a thief. Right now I'm in the temple and the only thing I can think of for getting those items is when I return from whatever I'll do in the temple I'll grab them and run for the surface. Is there any better way to deal with them? Do Iron golems have weaknesses?

"Do Iron golems have weaknesses?"
Oh yeah, baby...
(insert maniacal laugh, here)
But, I don't think TeamBG has an importer worked out yet. :1eye:

What is an importer?
By the way I went on for a while and bought some +3 weapon from the merchants near the drow and managed to kill them all, for some reason though only the last one gave me 3300 exp the others didn't give me a thing.

Sorry.
I'm a notorious cheater. The "importer" is a TeamBG utility, that will let you use a weapon from another game, or even make your own weapon.
I usually use a Killsword. It's a BG2 weapon that's a "secret easter egg". You cannot get it "in-game", you have to cheat to get the weapon. It's like +10 enchanted to hit, and mine gives a +50 or 60 bonus to thac0. Basically, it takes out anything in one hit; no excluding dragons, or Iron Golems.
As far as IwD2, yeah; anything that you can find (period) that's +3 is what you'll have to use. When your characters level up far enough, you stop getting experience from the "lower level" enemies.
Which really makes me mad, 'cause an Iron Golem might be level 12, but his resistances make him much more like a level 20.
