After like a year of taking a break from this game, I finally decided to try and beat it before school starts lol. I think I got to like the 4th chapter or so, can't remember, before I quit. So, can anyone give me advice on my new party?

This one I really like, and want to know if it will work out:

'Arcane Archer'
Human Female
Fighter/Sorcerer

I was thinking of doing 4/26 or something like that, or 10/20. Basically shell be getting ranged spells lol, AoE spells and whatnot

Healer/Tank
Shield Dwarf Male
Battleguard 30

I dont know, ive always had that kind of cleric in almost all of my parties lol.

Tank or whatever
AAsimar Female
Fighter Paladin 4/x

Hmmm, I've always like paladins, but Im thinking of making a male barbarian...I've also been thinking about a Drow Paladin/fighter cuz of the spell resistances...

Spellcaster
Drow Male
rogue/wizard
I guess the standard for him, 1/x, or was it 3/x..I can't remember

Sounds OK. That party could easily finish the game. A Drow Paladin Fighter would encounter XP penalties because neither of those are a Drow's favoured class.

Fighter[4]/Sorcerer[26] sounds ok for a sorcerer to fall back on bows when spells have done their damage.

Battlegaurds of Tempus can melee very well too.

Aasimar Fighter[4]/Paladin of Helm and Drow Paladin of Mystra[3]/Wizard can round off your party.

Rouge[2]/Wizard is the standard.

Looks quite good- especially the "Arcane Archer". I had something similar in one of my more powerful parties... Works exceedingly well if you have another archer/Xbower working alongside it to finish off "Morale Failed" monsters.

Wow, I really need to check my spelling lol, its 2:13 in the morning >.< Anyways, thanks guys, now I feel stupid for giving my 'Arcane Archer' 16 str and 13 dex >.< I always get confused about which one adds to bows and xbows...but whatever, I guess I'll leave her as is.

A Paladin/Sorcerer would seem to be a better choice... or do you intend to use your Fighter/Sorcerer as a frontman, sorry woman?

Well, not frontline. Shes going to be using a Bow, behind my Battleguard and Fighter/Paladin, and using ranged spells, like magic missile, fireball, and whatnot lol.

My suggestions, most of which has already been stated.
Tank or whatever
AAsimar Female
Fighter Paladin 4/xFighter 4/Paladin of Helm X is the typical mix because it works good.
Healer/Tank
Shield Dwarf Male
Battleguard 30Another good choice.
'Arcane Archer'
Human Female
Fighter/SorcererI'd go 4 levels of Fighter to get Weapon Specialization in bows, since that's going to be her weapon of choice.
Spellcaster
Drow Male
rogue/wizard2 levels of Rogue is enough. 3 will get you backstab, but he's going be more of a caster than a fighter so stick with 3.

Bah, do something a bit different! Go for a Half-Orc Quarterstaff-wielding Druid! Watch that Smashing Wave crash!

Lol, hmm, i've never tried a druid before...but ive already done the prologue...maybe I can delete one and cheat the exp rofl. Hmmmm

You don't need to cheat the exp. A new level 1 character will bring the average level of your party down so that you'll earn more XP per kill so every one will level up faster! You can't lose! Go the Half Orc Druid!

Druids can be quite effective and the idea of a Half-Orc wielding a Quaterstaff is intriguing.
