The prerequisite for Spirit of Flame and the related others is listed as 10 or better spellcraft and ability to cast 4th level spells.

I have 3 characters I wanted to get this for once I hit 9th level: drow rogue 1/illusionist 7, human morninglord 8, aasimair sorcerer 8.

All have spellcraft of 10 and can obviously cast 4th level spells. Strangely, the only character that allowed me to take Spirit of Flame feat was the drow illusionist!

Is there an intelligence requirement that is not listed? Is it race-related? Did I waste 10 valuable skill points for nothing?

Your spellcraft rank takes into consideration your intelligence modifier as well...i.e, if you had an INT of 18, you only need 6 ranks of Spellcraft, and 14 if you reduced it to 3... :D
