I want to know how is decided the amount of experience that you get from killings if you have high level and low level characters in the same party.

It's the average level of all party members. If you need more xp there is a mod at SP by Weimer that eliminates the 0 xp for a kill, by giving a modest amount of xp at all levels. It's good.
