i swear i've walked around the place n talked to every one 5 times. i'm suppose to go back to targos for that lumber but i can't figure out how to leave can some one tell me what i've missed?

You can either find the little boy that will take you back to either the town or docks or just go to the south edge near where the guy who pays you house is and there is a path if you run the mouse over the edg, its pretty big

1.You have to complete all the tasks that you are given first.

2. Then you have to fight the Goblin Army (which will put a hole into the palisade so you can get out)

3. On to the next area and new adventures! :)

To get the lumber sorted, you need to go and visit the crane-guy in Targos and Jorun Tamewater in the Docks. To leave the Palisade you either talk to the little kid or you just leave the way you came in.

The person who sends you to get the lumber - I can't remember his name - can hook you up with the "runner" who can move you back and forth between the different maps. When you get the quest, complain to him about all the running-around and he'll summon the boy to be your guide. Otherwise, the exit to the other levels of targos is in the bottom centre of the map, next to the Captain's office building.
