Not sure if this is a bug or something I did wrong but I just started a new game and I entered one building in that starting town and killed a few goblins then exited after looting. Now I am able to open doors to other buildings but I cannot enter any of them. There is no 'door/entry' icon on the cursor when I move the mouse over the entry ways.

Any ideas on what is wrong here?

Do you have the official patch installed? Any mods?

I am patched up to 2.01 and no...I don't think I have any mods installed. I know I downloaded the unofficial "slowdown fix" but I don't think I applied it.


If I start over from my earliest save it seems I can enter ONE building every time but after exiting that building I can no longer enter any other buildings.

This is a really strange bug that I don't think I've seen reported before... :bad:

At first I thought maybe I had looted something I was not supposed to and teh game was flagging me as a "criminal" and therefore not allowing me to freely enter buildings but that is obviously not the case. One of the strangest bugs I have seen in a game. If there are closed doors then I can open them normally by putting the mouse cursor over the door but after opening them there is no way to enter the building. The cursor does not change to the "Enter doorway/building" icon.
