I am unable to load the last 3 saves. I keep getting a popup saying "An Assertion failed in ObjAnimation.cpp at line number 18730 Programmer says: Shield equipped with bow".
Anyway to fix this?

Are you in the Yuan-Ti temple wearing the acolyte robes and equipped with a bow or crossbow? If so, the game thinks the robe is a shield. I think the patch fixes this, but once your save game has this error, the only way to fix it is to go back to before you put either the robe or the bow on. Sorry. :(

If you aren't in the Yuan-Ti temple, I don't know what the trouble is.

Bartholomew is correct about the patch fixing the error. I would download it and install it before you attempt to play anymore IWD2

Thanks Bartholomew, I am in the Yuan-Ti temple. I guess I'd make a good example for checking if patches are available before starting games. Lesson learned!

Update: The patch corrects the problem and I am able to load the game from the Yuan-Ti temple. No need to go back to a previous save. Thanks everyone!
