Looks quite similar to my party, which I thinks works well. The half-orc barb is going to get nailed by charm, confuse, sleep spells though with the 4 Int and Cha. Enemy spellcasters gotta go down quick, make sure everyone in your party has some form of missle attack...I find arrows and slings work best. Also concentrate on getting items (potions, scrolls etc.) that give saving throw bonuses or immunity to those control type spells.

Well, I would switch the srcerer witha wizard, but thats just me.

I agree, the sorcs benefit to cost ratio of specializing doesn't seem as good as having a wizard that has no restrictions in choice of spells. One difference in our parties I didn't mention.

I think sorcerers make better sappers and lvl 4 fighter + lvl x Paladin would be better because of weapon specialization.I think you're identifying with Lorekeeper of Oghma...I don't know why but i like morninglords.Overally a good party :)

good party but iwould prefer a dwarf as tank instead of an halc orc because: 1. more hits 2. dwarves have con +2 and ch -2, half orcs str +2 ch -2, and int -2 so dwarves have two points more to spent

diebysteel-I think it is better if you spend 2 less points but get 20 strength but i didn't understand "more hits" thing, can you explain?

This party works very well for me:

1-Ranger/Fighter (HUMAN)(an archer, two-wepon fighter and scout)

STR:15 +2
DEX:18 +4
CON:14 +2
INT:8 -1
WIS:10 +0

2-Barbarian (Half-orc) (Heavy Fighter in melee and bag of the party)

STR:20 +5
DEX:12 +1
CON:18 +4
INT:6 -2
WIS:10 +0
CHA:8 -1

3-Rogue x/Ranger 1(Moon Elf) (Thief, Scout too,Elf wepon profency, and one level in ranger for the two-wepon fighting)

STR:10 +0
DEX:20 +5
CON:12 +1
INT:14 +2
WIS:10 +0
CHA:12 +1

4-Cleric(the war god) (Asimar) (Healer of the party and can work as a second ''tank'')

STR:18 +4
DEX:10 +0
CON:14 +2
INT:8 -1
WIS:20 +5
CHA:10 +0

5-Sorcer (Wild Elf) (He works as specialist in fireballs, lightingbolts and pure offensive spells but he can know others types of spells too.)

STR:8 -1
DEX:20 +5
CON:12 +1
INT:10 +0
WIS:10 +0
CHA:18 +4

6-Wizard (Moon Elf)(the loremaster, he identify items and use defensives and feedback spells, like bull's strenght, mage armor,etc...)

Khelben:
He meant hit points(HP) with "hits". Dwarf get more HP due to high CON.

outputrotation:
8 STR of that sorcerer will hurt you. Probably, he wouldn't be able to carry his own equipment. Try this one;
Aasimar - Sorcerer X/Paladin 1
STR 10 DEX 14 CON 12 INT 16 WIS 8 CHA 20

Doesn't moon elf get -%20 experience with 2 classes but no favored class?

Khelben:
Yes, moon elves get %20 XP penalty if multiclassed and neither is their favored class which is wizard.

gorgonbreath, Why would int and cha matter? isn't it will that negates?

(i changed int to 1 and cha to 1 and bumped will and dex)

Being a powergamer, I really do not understand getting 4-5 of any stat. I almays min/max my characters. But that's just me... ;)

anakha, with that uber 1-pal/x-sor, who do you have do all the talking? a bard?

yeh, the half-orc has 18 wis now, instead of 4 of in and cha.

Sorry for the late reply outputrotation (interesting name by the way), but my assumption is that low ability scores in the int, wis, char category generates a negative modifier for will saves. I am not %100 certain but I believe they all contribute in this manner.
