I am having troubles opening up higher level spells of my cleric & druid and all of the bard's and ranger's spells. Any helpful advice!!
Also, I have defeated Cedra's Army in Kulduhar and still want to try to defeat the guardian. Can I still get back through the portal even if I seemed to step ahead of the strategy guide?

are the spell icons greyed-out? if they are, then your wisdom is too low to cast the spells.

[edit] wisdom being the casting statistic for rangers... may be different for those other classes
