Can you use Maximized attacks with Sneak attacks? To get maximum damage from a sneak attack it would be worth taking 4 Fighter levels for a MC Rogue. So I wonder, has anyone tried this?

Good question...I couldn't help but to test it with DK2. Unfortunately it doesn't work. What happens is that the portion of the backstab damage caused by your weapon is maximized but the backstab bonus is not. It's too bad, I would love to play a fighter/thief with such an ability.

It would have been worthwile to take Fighter levels. Too bad. Anyway thanks for the answer.
