(2 lvls of paladin).Iam playing a four party. Elvenblade Wed, 21st May '03, 4:54pm I would make him a pure sorcerer. That way he will get the better spells earlier. Anyway welcome to the boards  Greenlion420 Wed, 21st May '03, 6:53pm i never multi-class my sorcerer's, but i also play a six member party, that gives me plenty of stronger characters to protect my sorcerer. if you're worried about this character getting into melee range, then maybe you should think about a sorcerer/fighter ;) and yes, by all means, welcome to S.P. :thumb: Viking Wed, 21st May '03, 7:04pm For a solo I took 2 levels of paladin. In a party I would probably go pure. I might do a solo Sorcerer x / Bard 11 for a laugh at some point just to see how it goes. Should get loads of spells. :) Vengeance Incarnate Wed, 21st May '03, 8:05pm I have a pure Sorcerer in a 3 person party(A Barbarian, Morninglord, and Sorcerer) and he's doing fine so don't worry about him as long as you keep him away from the front lines. Forget the paladin levels; the saving throw bonus and fear immunity just aren't worth being 2 levels behind in spells. I'd recommend using an Aasimar Sorcerer and not a Drow Sorcerer because the Drow's level adjustment makes getting spells harder. If you're a Sorcerer you need to get the spells as fast as you can. Emperor Wed, 21st May '03, 10:29pm It's a good idea to start with paladin... You can handle with all weapons and armors for example... it's a interesing to make fighter (2-3 level) to make two weapons expertise, then power attack, and etc. (all main fight feats), become paladin.. (2-3 level) , can heal youself.. update fight feats (two hands fighting, ambidexterity) and go with sorcerer (it's would be a mightiest battlesorcerer) about skills: str/dex/con/int/wis/cha = 12/12/12/16/16/12 (for example) Urgazhi Thu, 22nd May '03, 10:30am if it were me, i would go for a pure drow sorcerer. thats just the way i play, always have, always will. BUT when i play solo, i may add 1 or 2 levels of paladin just for the savin throws. Viking Thu, 22nd May '03, 2:25pm For a solo, the Paladin levels also gives you better hand to hand skills, and you do need some. Solo you cannot go through relying on not having to hit a few critters here and there. |
