I need help. This problem I have, happends everytime at level 5 Dragon's Eye, almost directly after I come down a Gate appears and I suppose a Cornugon is going to appear but just when the Gate disappears and the Cornugon is going to appear instead it jumps out to the desktop and a error message beeps saying something about a assertion error on line 256 or something like that. I've tried reinstalling, and installing the latest patch but it still won't work! Anyone had this problem and has overcome it please help..!

Other than that, I don't know what else to tell you...

The graphics card you use is?

Delete files from these IWD2 subfolders:
- cache
- temp
- tempsave
Then start IWD2 and try it again.
If this failed, check if you can pass that bug by switching the game into window mode while at that point (ALT+ENTER toggles modes).

And please, if both things fail, write down the whole assertion error you get from the crash and post it here.
