I've started to work on "Prestige Classes" mod. The first version will contain Shadowdancers and Dwarven Defenders. A nice IWD2 adaptation is made by Dave Fried.

I have also adaptations for Assassins, Blackguards, Weapon Masters and Holy Liberators. Please look at my homepage (http://pageperso.aol.fr/Ipotemine/) and at my posts in the Interplay's IE mod squad forum (http://forums.interplay.com/viewforum.php?f=48).

Any additional suggestions are welcome! :) In particular, I need 3E descriptions of prestige classes and their IWD2 adaptations.

Sounds cool. :thumb: Is it possible to make prestige classes that give "+1 level in spellcasting class" (like Loremasters)?

Probably possible. Do you have a description of Loremaster prestige class?

Yes, I have. I can send it and few other classes to you.

Also, these sites have some prestige classes:

From Faiths & pantheons and Races of Faerun

Thanx a lot, Harkle, for these nice links! I'll read it attentively, and choose prestige classes doable in IWD2. :D Any IWD2 adaptations are welcome!

The first link gives this:

and the second one won't open atall. Perhaps you didn't use the 'Insert Link' button? It's the little globe with a paperclip on the toolbar.

This thread is 5 years old... I'm guessing Arianyr realized that too late.

With Icewind Dale located in frozen North of Faerun, why not try using Prestige Classes that would fit the locale? Or spins that would alter(minimally) already existing classes to the locale? My runs through the game always included at least 1 Barbarian character, as would be befitting the area...I would think the Hordebreaker would definitely go in line with the story.
