How long would it take for IWD2 to get to Europe?

Grr! I called Electronics Boutique about my preordered copy of the Collector's Edition...Amazingly, the regular edition is out, but the Collector's doesn't ship til Friday...WTF???

Taking the long walk down Michigan Avenue this morning ... my only dilemma ... do I install it on my current laptop (which I have to turn in on Tuesday) or do I wait until Tuesday night to install it???

Wait til Tuesday, no point having to re-start.

I don't have it yet, because I refuse to buy any game without giving it at the very least a week after release before buying it, for them to work out any bugs there might be and make my game as painless as possible.

It's pre-ordered, so I suppose in that sense I've bought it. Just not yet available in the UK....

Still shows a release date of 13 September on Gamer UK, but I wouldn't be too surprised if that changes to match other European versions later in the month.

Still, at least some of the major bugs should be ironed out by then. :D

Yeah I agree with a hand-full of posters here. I'll buy it eventually, but after the original IWD came out, I've learned to wait until all the bugs are fixed and patches are released. Just look to NWN and PoR for examples. I see no need to be an unofficial 'beta' tester. I must give props though, so thanks to all those folks who couldn't wait to buy these games. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have realized thats it's O.K. to be patient when it comes to buying games.

I'm from the same school of thought that Thorongil is - patience. The bugs will be worked out and the price will drop some. (Heck, I'm still waiting for the price of ToB to drop more.) Although I want that Collector's Edition of IWD 2.
