From what I can see, IWD2 will be available before NWN? This can't be right! Have the guys been developing the game in secret?
Still, fine by me, IWD is my favourite game (maybe side by side with BG2).

Actually yes, the game has been in development for over half a year. And it uses an existing engine (although quite modified), so it can be done much sooner than NWN.

Maybe not the right topic, but;
Any word on wheather Salvatores characters will be appearing? I gather the story is still to early for Wulfgar, but I think a dwarf like Bruenor could appear? Jarlaxle? Errtu?
And will you be able to visit a drow city in Underdark (Ched Nasad maybe)?

Read the interview linked on the front page :) They asked about Wulfgar (not born yet) and Drizzt (still in the underdark) so they won't be there. And yes you will get to visit the underdark, though they didn't say if you get into a drow city.

I remember reading rumors about IWD2 on this very board almost a year ago so yes I think its very concievable....

Well, what would be the point of the underdark if you didn't get to see I nice drow city!
