How many of you would be "OK" if BG2, when sent to be duplicated and has gone "GOLD" knew there were 3 different "GOLD" masters going out?

1 COPY - BG2 as they've planned.
1 COPY - BG2 as they've planned with Drow Character Creation ability.
1 COPY - BG2 as they've planned with Duerger Character Creation ability.

For the Drow and Duerger, only a certain number are pressed and released with all the others, so this way, only SOME people get to play Drow, if they happen to pick up that copy. Now you can't tell which copy is which either, it's the roll of the dice when you pick it up off the shelf.

Wouldn't that be something though? It would add to the Forgotten Realms world knowing that you can play Drow, but because of their rareity(sp?), the chances of being able to play one is all about your chances of actually getting a copy with that character availability.

Dunno, I think it's a cool idea. ;)

Yes, and how long would it take before someone just copied it and made it downloadable on a site? I think its stupid, because if something like that was produced, people would start copying and posting it really fast!!!!!
