Heya. I am stuck at probation officer training with a new laptop, the game, internet access at the library and no way to download files so can't unzip anything. I am here 2 more weeks and have nothing other than the basic cheatcodes posted on every website to get me by. I need the codes for either the books or potions that increase stats. Trying the game again after a long absence. Help?

I think there are no stat-increasing tomes in IWD2, though. Only one or two stat-increasing potions too, if I remember right. So I don't know if you'll be able to do much in this area just via the console.

You can always use a game editor to cheat your stats!

Yeah, but he can't download it to his laptop. Check those lists for gauntlets, cloaks, rings, etc that raise your stats if you need the boost.

I know, though he can always download it in another place, write it into a CD or disk, and install to your lap-top eh? This is what I always do, as my PC on which I play games do not have internet connection! :p

If he could do that, he'd probably do it and not bother asking a question indicating that he can't.

The two weeks have now passed, so anything I say is moot at this point, but...

Whenever I feel a need to cheat with stats, I always do so directly at character creation with the good old Cheat O' Matic. Works wonders with the BG stuff as well, since this way gets "legal" HP and thief skills on start, which is not necessarily the case if using Shadow/DaleKeeper to mod an already created character.

I know there are only like 2 or 3 stat increasing potions and that there's no tomes ... so how the hell do you cheat to increase your stats!

Use Cheat O' Magic, the experimental DaleKeeper version for ID2, create some DLTCEP items boosting stats and console them in, etc, etc...
