Those of you struggling to wait for ToB might be interested in looking at the Siege of Avalon. The game can be downloaded in chapters from the net and the first is free. I haven't seen any detailed reviews but at that price (!) it can't hurt to look. The downside being that its probably one for broadband people only as the file is 90meg or so (I think you can also get a cd). Anyway, have a look at:

I tried that, i have a cable modem and downloaded it pretty fast, around 7 minutes :D
To tell the truth, I was not impresssed. Or maybe it was because I had bought BG2 the day before . . .

looks pretty cool Slappy, although i'm not gonna download 90megs here at home. yep good ol 56k modem. anyway i paticularly like the character advancement. i will download the 1st chapter when i can get to a faster connection, just to see how it plays. of course thats the only way to find out if it's any good.

Who makes this stuff? it looks pretty cool, nut I can't download it at home due to connection, and I can't DL it at work because I've had some disagreements with, the management about just what our computers are here for. I say games, they say work. The battle rages on...

If U really hate somebody U can encourage him to play the game. The idea of developing the game on-line chapters is cool, but not in 2-D anymore.
