You know, I saw the CS Lewis thread, I was reminded of another decent fantasy book series: His Dark Materials

I only read the first two. (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife) I have yet to read the last one. (The Amber Spyglass)

Has anyone else read them?

I have, all three. "The Amber Spyglass" is good, although some parts are dissappointing. Or maybe it's because I read a friend's copy in three hours while I had a 39 Celsius fever. *grin* It's worth reading though.

I loved the series.

IMO, the Subtle Knife was the best one.
