Who here has heard of Elric and Moonglum? I am just curious about how many fantasy readers we have

Well, I have now, and added it to my list of books I'll never have time to read, thankyouverymuch. ;)

well, if you want to know how many fantasy readers we have, that would probably be most of us. There have been a lot of posts like this on the AD&D forum. as to the book your refering to? Ive never heard of it.

I'm assuming that you're talking about Elric the Albino King of Melnibone, and his sword Stormbringer. Nope never heard of them :D

I red some books of Michael Moorcock many years ago and it is not easy to forget them, but not because of their quality.

I've heard of them and enjoyed the character more than the story (if that makes any sense). Tons of potential, I just wish the idea has been "birthed" by a better author!

I have read ALL the Elric books and enjoyed them, along with the other 'Eternal Champions' novels (Corum, Hawkmoon etc.).

I wouldn't class them as brilliant mind you... I just enjoyed them at the time.
