View Full Version : Favorite Forgotten Realms books TriLleX The Slayer Sat, 9th Mar '02, 2:05pm Whats your favorite book ? joacqin Sat, 9th Mar '02, 2:42pm Of the ones I have read Servant of the Shard is outstanding. This book is lightyears better than the other books "about" Drizzt. C'Jakob Sun, 10th Mar '02, 2:56am "Passage to Dawn" and the first of the Moonshea Trilogy (or was it Quartet?) were the best, worst, and only ones I read. After getting a taste of the books, I thought it'd probably be better to stick with Baldur's Gate II. zaknafein Sun, 10th Mar '02, 4:58am i liked homeland. though anything with Harkle in it is usually OK Durothil Sun, 10th Mar '02, 7:05am I like what is out of the Counselors and Kings series, The Cormyr Saga, Songs and Swords, and The Cleric Quintet. Arabwel Tue, 12th Mar '02, 11:06am 1. Servant of the Shard - the obvious resons 2. Homeland - Zak! Zak! Zak! Those are the best. Others, well, I can't really rate. Ara (Yawn. Sniffle. auugh. I. Hate. Life.) Corr Raven Wed, 13th Mar '02, 7:08am Servant of the Shard, Starless night, Silent Blade, and maybe Homeland. All from Salvatore, all about Drizzt, Artemis & co. Walala Thu, 28th Mar '02, 2:38pm i love em all!! i try to read every forgotten realm book i can and altho i do find a few books are tedious and boring.....the majority of the books ive read ive enjoyed immensely personal favorite tho would have to be the cormyr saga and the counselors and kings trilogy Wildfire Thu, 28th Mar '02, 5:14pm Hmm.. there was a FR book I read ages ago that was pretty good. Murder in Halrua or something to that effect. :) Tasohan Thu, 28th Mar '02, 11:11pm The "Avatar" series. Brightblade Wed, 10th Apr '02, 1:40am al of em, though the "realms" anthologies seem to stick with me, other than thant my favorite would have to be daughter of the Drow and Tangled Webs Faerus Stoneslammer Sun, 14th Apr '02, 4:36am My favourites are the Drizzt books (all 13 or 14 of them to date), the Cormyr Saga, the Empires Trilogy (great Ghenghis Khan idea), the Moonshae Trilogy (I think there were 6 books in this series, but my local library only has the first 3 [I'm only 16, and I only got into FR about 3 years ago which's why I don't have the others]). The Double Diamond Triangle Saga was interesting (9 books less than 100 pages each) and the Counsellors and Kings is decent (though I would have preferred another author). The rest of the books (I have almost 50 in all) I have and have read are also good. Trias Mon, 22nd Apr '02, 6:24pm Servant of the Shard,Sea of Swords and the Cormyr Saga |
