What book do you think has the best cover art?
I think the cover of Intervention by Julian May is the best. An eagle in a diamond swooping down onto a lake.
And to the saying that you should never judge a book by its cover, bull. Its an excellent way to find interesting books.

While this may not be my absolute favorite, it's the only one of my favorite's I could find offhand.
This is the cover for the second book in C. S. Friedman's Coldfire Trilogy, Crown of Shadows.

Hm,i could have forgotten some but AFAIK, my favorite was the cover of "The Annotated Chronicles" (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0786918705/ref%3Dnosim/sorcerersplace/002-0123710-4490427) .
I also think the last cover arts of WotC are very cool, they learned how to make it at last. The Thousand Orcs or Insurrection or Tangled Webs are really good.
