I just finished reading Gangster by Lorenzo Carcaterra and The Sicillian by Mario Puzo. They were both good, but I preferred Gangster. Does anyone know of any similarly written gangster novels? I read reviews on amazon and with the exception of the godfather, puzo's books got bad reviews and carcaterra doesn't really write this kind of stuff regularly.
