Who does ever have read a police book?(A book where they follow the police with they're work)
I've read a lot of that kind (Dutch), and I'm going to (when I can find them) read English/Britain police books.
So if you know some, please reply on this topic.

I like to read detective novels as a break from fantasy, and my father-in-law and I often trade books. Look for authors Tami Hoag and Iris Johanssen. Faye Kellerman runs hot and cold, and I find Patricia Cornell somewhat pretentious (but that's just me ;) ). Ann Rule has made an entire career of writing novels that are based on true crimes - that sounds like the kind of thing you might go for!

BTW, welcome!

Police books?
Let's see, I read some detective books in the last years , mainly Sherlock Holmes, I love Tom Clancy's work.
Nowadays I'm reading "The Chamber" by John Grisham for our Englih book exam.

Robert Crais is a good guy for detective stories.

A true crime book worth reading is Helter Skelter.

Well, I only red a few classics, like Sherlock Homes.
