I'm quite the fan of the Dark Sun campaign setting. So ... I read the Prism Pentad series. As far as I'm concerned, Troy Denning is vastly overrated as an author.

But Simon Hawke, he's a different story. I enjoyed tremendously his series of books about Sorak, the 1/2 elf and 1/2 halfing who becomes the right hand of the Sage. The Sage is a preserver wizard who is undergoing a magical metamorphosis into an avangion, the only creature who will be able to defeat the dragons of Athas.

As good as his books are, they leave a lot of open ends which beg for a sequel or two. Sorak obviously wants to pursue revenge against The Faceless One, the defiler who cast a spell that wiped out Sorak's elven tribe. This desire for revenge also includes Ragna, the halfing chieftain who commissioned The Faceless One. Also, why does Galdra "insist" on remaining with Sorak even though it's now a broken sword?

Obviously the D&D people have been busy with 3E and other things, but I would love the story of Sorak to continue. Does anybody know any scoops or news on this? Your own opinions on the Tribe of One storyline are also welcome of course.
