This series is one of the absolutely best i've ever read!! And i noticed there wasn't topic on the books so i've made one ;)
I'm just wondering if any of you read it and what you thought about it.
Personally i the best parts in the books was when zifnab/fiznab apears :D :shake: :lol:

That series is just amazing! I love it! I can not see how it can have the same authers as the Dragonlance books. Deathgate is just totally different, and infinitely better. One of my favourite series ever. Haplo is a very interesting protagonist.

The series is absolutely incredible! The character are interesting, and the plot is one of the best I've seen so far. It's also one of the few series with an ending that totally caught me with surprise.

I have to agree with you all. Deathgate Cycle is one of the best fantasy series ever. True masterwork from Weis & Hickman.

Deathgate's world is quite bizarre, but that makes it even more interesting and better. And characters surprised me totally. Like Zifnab. :D He brings lots of humor in the books. But in the end, it appears that he is something else...

Now I'm reading Darksword series, but it is nothing when compared to Deathgate Cycle.

Haplo is amazing, but for a while when i read the series i was sure he was going to die so i was a little depressed for a while but everything turned out great and as you say it totally surprised me too :)

Hmmm... I'll have to read that series. I've thoroughly enjoyed Weis & Hickman's books so far.

I'm actually reading them right now in English (read them once in dutch) and I love them. My fav character is still Hugh the Hand, I love assassins.

Hugh's good, and i felt really sorry for him...
Spellbound: read them, trust me you'll love them more than the rest of weis and hickmans' books :D
