I know that there has been a good share of Terry Goodkind bashing here, but his new book hit the shelves today.

I got it for my wife as an Adversary Present (I mean Anniversary) and it looks pretty good. Any one else picking it up?

I saw it in the store yesterday, but I could not bring myself to plop down the $20+ for it that was being charged. I've waited for all of the others to come out in paperback, so I see little reason to buy this one in hardcover, especially as I am sure it will be as formulaic as the rest.

After book 7 of this "author" I swore on my bed one night like a good christian that I won't touch anything by Goodkind till I hit the panssion years... :mad:

i picked it up. It's a good book like the rest of his work, its got a nice twist on it that starts in pillars of creation
