Hmmm. What to say...? I liked the style, but the premise of the story was a little bit...lame. I had this recommended to me from my sister and 2 nephews who all thought that it was spooky. I found some parts shocking but not spooky.
The basic idea of the book is that there is a homonid race that lives underground in a massive underworld region (and you thought that the vault of the Drow was huge!) and this is the origin of all the "Satan legends" worldwide.
The attempts to make it a little 'scientific' were a bit far fetched.
I was wondering if anyone else has read this book and what they thought of it in the end.
In the end I thought it was rather tame and not anywhere near the reading romp I was lead to believe that it would be, but perhaps my ideas of Satan are not exactly "orthodox" so....
