Hey all, has anyone ever read/heard of this book? My aunt thought I might like it and picked it up for me, but I've never heard of it :/

I've read one of the Mythago-wood books, the second. I just passed the shelf and I took it. It was kind of depressing and I did not bother to get me another of them. Yet, it interesting as it seems like the golden bough spiked with some characters. This makes it a little bit peculiar, as it doesn't follow the ordinary fantasy story telling doctrine, more focussing on the genetics of myth and the rather sorry happenings in a human life that created the myth.

Read it, it's surely something different.
