...between these two books: A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen or Jack Vance's Dying Earth. I'm extremely indecisive (not only when it comes to books) and if I pick one of them I will torment myself for not picking the other. I've read the review of the Malazan book here in booktalk, and it looks good, but of Dying Earth know very little (it's the title that attracts me).

The Malazan books are awesome but Jack Vance is older and more 'classic'. Why can't you just read both?

I plan to read both, I just couldn't decide which one is to come first.

Maybe do the Dying Earth first then, because getting through all the Malazan books might take a while as they are all quite big and you won't want to stop once you start on the series.
