I need help!! I'm in a room with statues asking for an animal sacrifice. I've already killed the kao tua prince, and can't seem to find what to put on the statue.

I tried that fight, whoow. A single one of them in Durlags tower was easy as soon as you realized that you have fight him with melee weapons, but six of them ...
However, nice sword, fine armour.

Yes, probably one of the toughest fight in the game, but nice equipment... and THE Belt :).

Only the belt? I think, thereīs the finest piece of armour in the whole game, even better than this +2 from the wish. Not to mention the sword (unfortunately I never had a char capable of using it).

Soul Reaver and Armor of the Hart?
Armor of the Hart is second only to the Red Dragon Scale, only because you can wear an amulet/cloak/ring of protection along with it. Soul Reaver is pretty damn sweet too...

This battle wasn't that hard. If you study the fight you will realize that only one of them is tough and that is because he is using the equipment mentioned.

If you take them on one or two at the time the fight itself is not really that hard. (I did have to reload once before I realized this though)

Yeah, I ran for the doorway so they could only come at me one or two at a time...

My racial enemy is demonic/fell, and I will chop up the wusses to pieces! Also now that Aerie has Bolt of Glory things are looking up!

(I'm pretty sure that even 10 demon knights combined can't be as hard as Firkraag!)

The pets you hopefully summoned (I suppose you DID NOT sacrifice one of your members...) also come in handy to hold most demon-types away from you giving you time to dispatch the 'master' and the deal with the others...
...yes not the killer hint but a hint anyway...

Yeah, I ran for the door like a crying schoolgirl once I started seeing things teleport in. Once I took them on in reasonable numbers, most fell with no problem and the one hard one wasn't that tough without his buddies.

Rakanishu:
I got Firkraag now, and it seems dragons fighting has a lot to do with luck, they sit around doing almost no damage for half a minute, then in one or two seconds they blow half your party to bits. So its pretty much luck with what attacks your dragon starts. Whenever Fir started with wing buffeting, I ended with at least one character permanently dead. Whenever I had my guys in position (backside, so they didn't slide half a mile), I got away fairly clean.

My tactic was to choose the doorway as my battleground for you only have to deal with one of them at a time. I built an ambush with the gros of my party waiting outside and just Imoen in the room (hasted) to fire her speel and then running outside to her position in he rear of my party.
I had Minsc and my PC (dc fighter-thief) there, Arie supported with healing, Valygar and Mazzy used their bows and Imoen supported with spells.
