First, hello all. I am Vidi. I've been playing NWN for a little while now but mostly messing around with trying to create modules.

I saw the link from Bioware to here, so I thought I'd give it a look and found the models/skins page.

Which leads me to my second thing.

What can you all tell me about the models/skins.

1) Are the ones from Bioware official replacements for the released versions? Or are they additions?

2) If those are additions, which folders do I drop them into to make them work?

3) Will player made models/skins work in the same way?

Hopefully this is the right forum for these questions. If not I apologize.

Thanks in advance,

Vidi

[Yes, it's the right forum, now I apologize for cutting down a bit the biggy big title. Welcome to the boards! - Ex]

Welcome aboard... All the models on the page there currently are official ones that were released before the game shipped and can be viewed separately in the downloadable Aurora Model Viewer. I presume they are the same as were used in the game.

Currently everything on that page is pre-release stuff, though I plan to add stuff actually relevant to the final version of the toolset there shortly. I've added more info to the page to prevent confusion, so reload the page and read more about it there.
