I decided I hated Neverwinter Nights after reasoning past what I wanted it to be. This occured after about four months of modding.

If you want to finish and publish the mod, or at least play what's there, just ask. It is HUGE, with pretty good scripting and a kickass plotline. So it's up for grabs. If I can remember right, it's about 800 megabytes or so. Not quite sure.

800? That's more than 10 times the size of the official campaign...

What on earth did you put in there?

And on top of that, how the heck are we supposed to get that? That will take a long time to download even on a T3 line.

Hmmm...maybe he meant 800 kb? Even with all the custom tile sets, pics, add ons...even with custom music, I can't imagine 800 MB. And to respond to the offer, I can't seem to correctly use my free time to work on my own module, which hopefully will be big and long in the end. Wouldn't want to take over for someone else too. Though...it would be nice if several people around here would work on it, as a team effort. Heh, maybe it could be *the* SP module.

Hey Crawl, you could put all of us in your mod as NPC's!

Just don't make me one of the NPC's that die, or betrays someone!

800 kb. And nevermind.

Happy for you, Crawl.

Phlan is 31 MB and we've been at it for 2 months. Compile time is ~ 15mins. Much bigger gets to be a real drag for module designers. Interestingly, if you zip it it drops to < 2MB! You can store a lot of zipped modules that way. ;)
